“Everythin’s uh blessin’, e-e-everythin’s uh blessin’.”
~
I heard the above quote on the local news… an old-timer from the mountains commenting on the wave of frigid weather.
~
Such lovely philosophical quotes always inspire me. They make me wonder just how clearly and deeply the understanding of the speaker goes.
~
There are two and only two forces in the universe…Karma and Prana. Both come from God.
~
Prana is a direct link to the infinite coherence of the unified field… God’s Grace…. the Breath of God, if you will.
~
Karma is the unraveling of the echoes of prana… Karma is born of identity with limited perspectives…limited understanding of (limited integration with) the unbounded nature of prana. As it unravels, you come to know your own true nature (your divinity, your God) more and more clearly.
~
Ultimately, both come from God, and both lead you back to God.
~
In that regard, “Everythin’s uh blessin’.”

Perfection in life dwells in the depth of your being, not on the surface.

It takes time to cultivate discernment.
~
Just like a chocolate connoisseur did not develop the ability to discern between hundreds of different chocolates overnight, neither can we expect to develop discernment on our spiritual path immediately.
~
It takes some humility, self-honesty, and reflection to develop the ability to discern at more subtle levels.
~
Yet there is a tangible beauty and sweetness to the discernment process.

You feel
~
and the feeling wells up into reason and thought.
~
Feeling is the deepest level of your being.
~
If it wells up without obstruction,
~
what you feel is reasonable,
~
your thoughts are valid,
~
you can conceptualize well.

WATCH A VIDEO where Michael talks about body fat percentage.
~
PERCENT BODY FAT MEASUREMENTS
A waist measurement is made at the level of the navel (umbilicus or belly button) parallel to the ground. The second girth measurement is neck circumference, measured just below the adam’s apple with a slight downward tilt (front slightly lower than back). The neck circumference is subtracted from the waist and that figure is used along with height to determine body fat percentage from the table.
Measurements are made to the nearest half inch and rounded up for the neck and rounded down for both waist and hips.

If you are interested in reading more on the subject of physical exercise I would recommend going to Amazon and searching the author Alwyn Cosgrove. He also has some very good articles at bodybuilding.com. Just go the the main site and search his name.

If you like pasta but do not like the calories, you may want to check out shirataki noodles. You can get them at Whole Foods, Earth Fare, and maybe even your regular grocery store.
~
Shirataki noodles are almost all fiber (something people generally do not eat enough of) and have almost no calorie impact. You can use them with an Italian tomato sauce or an unlimited number of other ways.
~
A great satiating fill up food when you prefer not to add additional calories to your diet.
~
I do not have any knowledge about how healthfully these noodles are processed, though I did learn about them through a health advocate. If anyone has any additional information, please post it here.

Make failure your ally.
Failure assists in directing your path.
~
Playfully entertain the notion that
perfection does not exist in life.
~
Delight in the understanding that
life is a never-ending series of failures.
~
Every failure is a stepping stone
leading to a new horizon…

This exercise is taken from the Unconditioned Spirit Workbook. It will help you see the divinity in yourself and others. It’s fun and you can easily do it throughout the day—in line at the bank, the grocery store, at the airport or anyplace where you can watch people and you have some time to spare.
~
- Feel into your physical body. How does it feel? Allow yourself to rest in your body.
~
- Now feel more deeply into yourself, into what some may call the soul. Feel into the part that is exquisite, of pure intent, and divine. Allow that part to well up and permeate your being. Fully innocent.
~
- Look at others and feel that part of them that is exquisite, of pure intent, and divine. Fully innocent. See it in their faces, their eyes, and how they hold their body.
~
- Now feel your sadness and your fears, your frustration and disappointment. Feel how it has affected your body—tight, weary, or agitated. Feel into this aspect of yourself that may be referred to as the wound.
~

~
- Now go back to feeling your divinity—the part that is exquisite, of pure intent, and fully innocent. And now look at others. See the divinity in them.
~
- Notice that you can shift back and forth at will between seeing your and others’ divinity and seeing everyone’s wound.
~
Your conditioning determines your perspective. What you see in others is more about you, than about them. Adhering to any one perspective is limiting.
