Who are you?

bushFalse dignity is pride

True dignity is humble integrity

True Integrity is alignment with the True Self

True Humility is rooted in abstraction… which lies beyond rules, codes, laws…

yet proper use of rules, codes, and laws can help light the way to True Integrity and True Humility.

Improper use of rules, codes, and laws clouds, inhibits, or even attacks The Way.

False integrity is alignment with dogma.

When the Master speaks, it immediately ceases to be what the Master said and, in time, becomes what dogma dictates.

Jesus was judged harshly by the ‘spiritual elders’ of His time.

Today is no different than then.

Reflect, learn and become great.

Truth lies within you as You.

Do not rely upon smallness.  Who you are is great, grand, beyond smallness, beyond dogma, beyond simplistic… yet it is very simple.

Worship and You are One with God

roadIt seems a contradiction.  Is God beyond you or within you?  How do you find God? Though the answer comes rather easily in intellectual form, to live it, not as a philosophy but as a living physiological reality, is quite another.

The temple is an excellent place to worship the outer expression of Divinity, as it is readily accessible and lively there.  There, too, is the invitation to find God within. However, much of that is dependent upon your relationship with the temple and with God.  Do you hold God outside of yourself?  If so, how does that ‘look’ and how does it feel?  Are preconceived perspectives of God coloring your relationship with God.  Does what you have come to believe from earlier life experiences interfere with a deepening understanding of God?

Reverence does not mandate subservience.

Through meditation, you awaken to deeper levels of your own being.  Thereby your relationship with God deepens.

Ultimately, you find God within yourself while at the same time, you are enraptured by the most sublime reverence for God as just slightly afar… just enough so that God may be worshipped with limitless humility at an infinitesimal but exquisite distance.

Love is the Divine longing to merge.  Such separation is sweet, profound, …exquisite.

The False God of Familiarity

kissThe Transcendent is your touchstone.  It is the one constant.  When it is not known, people cling to the familiar as a substitute.  That is the formula for failure.  It is not A formula for failure.  It is THE formula for failure.  It comes in many forms, many guises, but it is the same one mirage.  Your portal to the transcendent is your inner being.  All else is illusion.  The Kingdom of Heaven dwells within.  The Guru holds the lamp that lights the way, but the Self is revealed to the Self, by the Self and through the Self.

We do well to learn from history. All the principles of life and existence are there. Imagine the courage of the German Jew who left their home, their wealth, all that was familiar, to escape Nazi tyranny. To pursue enlightenment is to look beyond the indoctrination of the familiar. Transcend the familiar. As perhaps Ramana Maharshi would say, it is fine to have your boat in the waters of the familiar, but you cannot afford to allow that water into your boat.

“Courage is the power to let go of the familiar.” – Raymond Lindquist

Success

viewDo you want to be a great success?

What you truly love, what you really believe in, is there, alive, inside of you.  Devote your life to that and your life will be a most fulfilling success.

To do so, you must look beyond ego… beyond greed… beyond any and all conditioning. It is pure and beautiful. It is Divinity as it wells up through you, as you.

It need not be conventional nor need it be grandiose, yet it is, most assuredly, grand.

The Humiliation Secret

lockCertainly, there are aspects of life that are private.  It is appropriate to keep them to yourself.  However, it is important to know the difference between these things and what I will call humiliation secrets.  Humiliation secrets involve aspects of your inner world that you have a charge or shame around.  They include false prides, self-judgments, and fear of judgments from others if they knew. Such things create an inner world that you protect and, consciously or unconsciously, keep hidden from the view of others.  If they were seen or known by others, you would feel humiliated.

Before I proceed, let me make it clear that I am not saying these aspects of yourself should be shared with the world as some sort of self improvement technique. Absolutely not.  Some things are best kept to yourself, in the name of dignity if nothing else!  These days, some are all too willing to compromise their dignity in the name of openness.  That is not what I am talking about here.

What I am speaking of is your relationship with your inner world, your inner secrets about yourself.  If your relationship with such things is not healthy, you create a contorted, tense, in the shadows, underworld within.  That is not healthy.  You can rationalize a justification to keep these things private.  In fact, those justifications may well be valid.  However, I say again, I am speaking here of your relationship with those hidden aspects of your inner world… the ‘charge’ you may have around them. Those inner tensions are self-damaging.  With them, you turn much of your energy against yourself.  It is exhausting and destructive. Such inner tensions preclude being at peace with yourself.  Furthermore, others sense those tensions within you. That elicits feelings of dislike, mistrust, judgment, aversion, and fear toward you.

To heal those inner channels of the heart and mind you would do well to take a look at them… explore them within yourself.  Inner peace means arriving at the point where you realize that you are fine. You are fine.  In fact, you are better than fine. You are Divine.  It is your relationship with self that can be a problem. The self is always fine.

If you find yourself tiptoeing through life for fear of your humiliation secrets being glimpsed by others (or faced by yourself), take heed of what I say here.  Doing so does not necessarily mean sharing those things with others. Again, that may be inappropriate and undignified.  However, you would do well to find within yourself the state of rest and inner peace… the place where you feel fine within yourself.

In the final analysis, you really have nothing to hide. Certainly not in the sense I am speaking here.  You are fine.  You are fine.  Only your relationship with your inner world can create tensions within that inner world. They are like knots within.  To be physically and mentally healthy, those knots need to unravel.  That goes beyond self-acceptance of those knots, and requires moving past the humiliation secret that holds them tightly in place.

We all share the same one humanity.  Really, there are no secrets.  The Guru sees and is at peace with all of you because the Guru knows and is at peace with all of himself.  To become wise, is to find that within yourself.  It is called inner contentment.

The Heart

lotusI was asked the following:

I have a question. I’m reading a very interesting book about enlightenment through the meditation and concentration of the heart. I was just wondering, is it possible to become enlightened through heart consciousness?Entering our mental space via the heart?

To which I respond:

“The Heart” has been incorrectly translated from the ancient literature to mean the emotional heart.  They actually meant the heart of your being… the Transcendent. So many have been so mislead by so many well intended, but mistaken, people.

When the transcendental root of life is watered, love naturally blossoms. However, striving to water the root by forcing the blossom to open is not correct.

Why?

ocean

To the following question:

Would you explain why there is so much hate and anger today.  I see so much fighting and killing going on. It seems everyone has a gun or thinks they should have one.  I guess humans have fought each other for centuries but what is it that makes them hate another person so much because of a different belief system?  Is this because of our identities?  Is it because of group consciousness?  Or is this all just part of a grander plan just playing out?

My response:

If the fundamental nature and structure of life and existence is understood, answers to this and so many other question that have plagued humanity for ages are clear and simple.  Without that understanding, people wallow in a quagmire of oblivious speculation.

Once you have that basic understanding, you must then learn how to connect the dots. Here are the dots:

  1. The universe manifested as pure consciousness (the unified field… pure is-ness), became conscious of itself and the illusion of duality was born.  Then, becoming conscious of the duality, a third thing was born… then conscious of the three, a fourth was born, and on and on into multiplicity.
  2. This occurred in a mathematically precise way: 1, 2, 3, etc.  Through the self-interaction of that structure, processes emerged… like addition, multiplication, and of course, profoundly more complex interactions.
  3. This created the underlying matrix, the basis, of all existence… the quantum mechanical realm… the mechanics (processes) of the interaction of the quantization (1, 2, 3…) of Oneness (pure consciousness).
  4. Simple systems (biological organisms) emerged within this quantum mechanical soup and sustained and reproduced themselves along the lines of Darwin, but with an important aspect that Darwin missed.  Namely, the organized structure of those species continued to be infused, and therefore ‘pulled or pushed’, by the underlying, mathematically precise, order of that quantum mechanical soup underlying and permeating them.
  5. In other words, species evolved in a direction… gravitating back to the harmony, intelligence, integration, etc., inherent in that from which they emerged – i.e. the unified field.
  6. Everything has a personified aspect.  That is what gives it meaning.  For example, you are a bunch of electron, protons, neutrons, etc.  But you are the personified value of that.  Your persona is what people relate to as “you.”  The persona of the unified field is called “God.”
  7. As species evolve, they have not developed fully enough to live in full harmony with their essential, underlying, true nature… Mother Nature… God.  They are embodying only a fragment of their essence… far short of their full potential… of what they would be when fully evolved. Their thoughts, emotions, actions, etc., are limited by their level of evolution, which is not fully harmonious with the existence that birthed them.

Now you should have enough to answer your question… just connect the dots.

And when you are connecting the dots, it is of utmost importance to know that we offer a technology to accelerate the evolution of each person individually. Proper meditation, cultivation of the art of discernment, as well as a technology to, at the same time, radiate that evolutionary influence to the world at large… a unified field generator, i.e. a harmony generator, i.e. Mount Soma.

Connecting Some Dots

carI was asked to blog on the following topics:

  1. Helplessness
  2. Cultivating Passion in constricted environments
  3. Compatibility in any / all relationships

Can you see the underlying common denominator to this list?  Can you ‘connect the dots’?  Why would one person ask about these three things?  Are they separate issues… unrelated topics?  No, they are not.

The points/questions all relate back to the same one thing.  Fatigue.  However, this is not the type of fatigue created by a lack of sleep over a number of years.  A hundred years of sleep would not alleviate this sort of fatigue.  A deeper rest is needed.  That rest comes from deep meditation and a healthy lifestyle.  One aspect of that lifestyle would be a healthy internal environment with respect to how you think… how you relate to your own thoughts and emotions.

We all have infinite energy within us.  You can use it to build a healthy life.  You can also use it to tear yourself apart.  To tear yourself apart is, needless to say, self abusive and exhausting.  If that is your habit, then you look out at the world and say it is abusive and exhausting.  As is the inside, so the outside is perceived.

So I say again… what is needed here is deep rest.  That is attained through proper meditation and a healthy (internal and external) lifestyle.

Superstition and Mapping

eyesLife is far more abstract and complex than most realize.  The principle of mapping permeates everything.  In reflexology the foot maps on to the rest of the body – the big toe is the head, the heel is the pelvis, etc.  In a graph, a value of x maps on to a value of y.  Mappings are everywhere and become profoundly complex.  In Vedic technology of the Unified Field, objects in a puja or homa (Vedic ceremonies) map on to operators deep within the mechanics of existence.

The human psyche innately knows such principles exist, even though modern scientific thought has only comprehended the most superficial and simplistic mappings.  Superstitions emerge when people reach for such mappings but do not have the clarity of mind and soul necessary to fathom such mappings.  Imagine a life when these mappings are spontaneously understood and honored.

Today, most sane people judge themselves and others harshly for their affinity for such mappings, calling it superstition.  You may even consider yourself or others a bit crazy for having that affinity.  Please understand that the affinity is not crazy.  It is only that more clarity is required.  Such clarity comes through evolution.

Meditation and discernment are your most powerful tools.  I have taught you how to meditate.  My blogs, classes, etc. help you to cultivate discernment.  Most consider learning to be the accumulation of facts and techniques.  Few understand that true learning is the cultivation of discernment.  Through discernment, you fathom the depth of life and existence.  You come to perceive the profound mechanics underlying life and existence.

The world is not as you have been lead to believe.

Music and TV

cornRecently I was asked if it is not good to listen to music, watch television, movies, due to imposition on the awareness if your wanting to evolve, i.e. wanting to refine your nervous system.

To which I respond:

If you do everything that you should do to evolve exactly right, you don’t end up enlightened, you end up insane.  Obsessing over the right food at every meal, the right exercise every day, do the right this, avoid the wrong that – it will drive you crazy!  There are mantras for everything… before you sleep, when you awake, before you eat, when you rest, even when you go to the bathroom – you can’t do them all.

So what to do?  You do your very best, but be easy with it.  Pay attention to how you feel after you eat a particular food or watch a particular type of movie.  Lean in the direction of what you feel is right.  Crude influences culture crudeness in the physiology.  But easy does it.  Pushing, pushing, pushing yourself is a crude influence in and of itself. Specifically regarding music and TV, the same principle applies.  A research study was done with different types of music played to crops of corn.  Rock music had a negative influence and the corn grew more poorly than with no music. Classical music did well.  Gandharva Veda ragas scored the best.

Some dogs are such ‘great mothers’ that they clean and nibble the pups feet and tails to the point of damaging them.  Do not do that to yourself!  Evolution is a culturing process.  The environment and feeling level is critical.  Be kind to yourself.  At the same time, a lackadaisical approach yields lackadaisical results.  It is a matter of balance.

The truth is, how your psyche functions determines how you hold that balance… how you tip the scales.  This goes right back to cultivating discernment with the foundation being proper meditation.  That is what purifies the physiology and psyche.  So meditate and do your best to discern.  Know that nature is on your side.

All water finds it way back to the ocean.
