I received the following email which I will respond to in the podcast:
Hi Michael
I had a discussion with my brother about ancient teqnologies and oh boy we had such different perspectives, he had some good points tough like if the ancients had better tech, why didn’t we find cellphones cars planes if they had those things and if they didn’t obviously this is the best age.
And about politics he said immigrants are needed that’s why the west let them in for economic growth. He made some good points.
What is your view on this i would love to know

multiple tech pathways. our path is not the only one. projecting our path on all history
is too narrow a viewpoint. there are 5 elements. current tech relies only on fire element. enlightened tech relies on all elements. what enlightened society is like is beyond comprehension of our age
