It’s not about facts. It’s about conceiving from within.
The Veda exists within every point in creation eternally.
The ‘story’ is great, but what lies deeper is much greater.
The story points in a direction where few think to go.
Ask what is the underlying principle in nature. Conceive that.
How to learn from a Spiritual Master.
Step one, be sure the master is for real!
From what I have seen, few people do step one well.
It is not about emotion, hype, drama, flash, vogue, etc. Look as deeply as you can. It is not about if it resonates with something within you. It is about what within you it resonates with. As Adi Shankara said, “The spiritual path is the path of discernment”
It is not about personality or conformity with your preconceived notions. If it was, then where is the learning.
It is not a popularity contest, or a social gathering point
Common sense, spirituality, depth, in-sight
Really it might all too often just come down to motivation… what are you really wanting?
Looking into the Mirror
When he/she holds up a mirror, what do you do? mirroring
When something is not consistent with your views… think or better said discern. Where do you go when on the edge? Do you learn or reject? Do you deepen your thinking, or reject and judge.
Do you embrace your issues, or truth.
All too often, “your truth” is really just your issues.
Assuming the person is truly a spiritual master, how do you learn from that person?
Listen carefully, observe, reflect, the mirror shows your beauty and your limitations. If you are willing to look, it points in the direction of your growth.
