Everyone longs for adventure,
yet many prefer only read of it,
hoping that will satiate the desire to live it,
without risk.
I have chosen to live the adventure.
Not for the sake of adventure,
but because I chose to look beyond the horizon.
Having seen what is there I am compelled to go forward,
through the portal,
into the greatest adventure of all…
The pursuit of Truth,
the unraveling of the mystery of life,
of existence,
of the Self.
Fascinating and beautifully written post. I am still contemplating the implications. Thank you.
How very fortunate we are to have the opportunity to join you on this wonderful adventure. I only hope that I am up to to task…
Jai Guru Dev
What a beautiful reminder that history is being created by “just a guy” living his life. And a call to adventure, and …………… Thank you.
When one is compelled to take this journey, is one also compelled to hold in ones heart a concern for the greater good? Does one’s journey of this type (“adventure”) realize/manifest a benefit that is larger/broader than the benefit realized by the individual self?
Thank you for considering my question.
This blog fuels my thoughts on all the talks about contradictions, illusions, and confusion we experience in our day to day lives.(Like the earth worm) we protect our precious souls with everything we have because for many..the physical life is everything.I can think back on many times that “I choose not to” in the name of safety..(not always a bad choice:)I can honestly say..I feel like I am on the greatest adventure of my life..while not having a clue what is up around the bend however I do have the ultimate tour guide!
Thank you Brahmarshi
Brahmarshi,

Crystal
Who can take a sunrise
Sprinkle it in dew
Cover it in chocolate
and a miracle or two?
The candyman The candyman can The candyman can cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good
Who can take a rainbow
Wrap it is a sigh
Soak it in the sun
and make a strawberry lemon pie?
The candyman? The candyman The candyman can The candyman can cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good
Who can take tomorrow
Dip it in a dream
Seperate the sorrow
And collect up all the cream?
The candyman.
THANK YOU CANDYMAN… :)))

When I first saw the photo, I said, “Oh, my God!” out loud.
Your blogs and comments seem to be touching me more deeply, helping me integrate what I read with how I live?
Thanks for the adventure!!!
Lynn,
You are one with all that is. As you evolve, your sense of self expands to awaken to that fact. Then living a Self-ish life is a life in service to all life.
Some say that is a life free of ego. That is actually not correct. In fact, the ego has expanded to embrace the world… all that is…
This is it! This is my motivation. For years I held an idealized notion of enlightenment that was my primary motivation to evolve. As that notion slowly dissembled, my curiosity grew more and more important. If this world is not what I’ve been lead to believe, then what is it, really? How does the world work? What is Truth? What is the mystery of life? What is existence? What is the Self?
This motivation feels more honest.
Thank you Brahmarshi for your dedication and patience.
And looking for the adventure beyond the horizon. I’m in.
Thank you for coming back and leading the way,
Jai Shiva Sankara
As much as I’m drawn to adventure and risk taking, I realize the fear that still comes up in me with regards to the “unknown”. That fear makes it tempting to hold on to what I’m familiar with, too often my conditioning. I keep hearing this inner voice that tells me how important it is to have an open heart and mind and to not be afraid of letting go of those idealized notions that feel so safe and familiar. I find your comment “Having seen what is there I am compelled to go forward, through the portal…” incredibly reassuring. Thank you.
Awesome! beautiful writing.
We are so grateful you chose to bring us along!
I hope I can continually find the courage to continue to live the adventure!
