As a veterinarian and animal lover, I’ve always been moved by the innocence, unconditional love, and straightforward genuineness of animals. There is nothing conditional, deceptive, or false about them.
And then every evening, the news is riddled with wars, deception, betrayal, and senseless killings humans have perpetrated on one another. It’s no wonder that many of us feel humans are the inferior species. As humans evolve, it would seem they would take on more and more of the traits characteristic of our beloved animals. But let’s take a step back and look more carefully…

It’s a very inspiring blog. I hope that people will get the subtle point that Dr. Mamas is offering “a meditation that naturally relieves the physiology of stresses and strains.”
I am so glad that I do have the Surya Ram meditation to work with and through! I do question why I/we use our minds and strengths to initiate power plays. I am looking forward to growing out of my human infancy into this peacable world that I can only imagine right now.
I agree that regular meditation has been key to having a sane life. I am so grateful that I found this tool and somehow recognized its importance in my daily life.
