Fun article! Once I set my New Year’s Resolution to eat only with my hands… That didn’t last long, but it was fun. I did however eat only with a wooden spoon for a couple years. Even wood felt way more ‘natural’ than metal in my mouth!
I say it felt natural because it felt more “invisible”… it was less noticeable as a foreign object interjecting itself into my meal. It intrigues me that often what is most natural is least noticed, because it just fits, works, seamlessly.
