Yes, I agree with Chick. Great article! My favorite Michael Mamas quote from this article is: “Try to sense the natural and appropriate rhythm of all the people at the table, including yourself.” I feel like for me, there is always room for improvement in this area.

Dr. Mamas always states things so they are clear and concise. I really liked the “honey over vinegar”. It seems many people feel like a negotiation is inherently negative, often because the perception is that one will win, and therefore the other will lose. Which leads right into the idea that Dr. Mamas suggested that it’s best to go into a negotiation with the intent that both parties win. Loved every morsel of this article.
