The deep beautiful feelings underlying Christmas are universal. All rejoice and are humbled before such exquisite feelings. Such sublime feelings emanate from the best of who and what we are. It matters not if one is Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, or atheist in this regard. Divinity is universal.
Did you know that all across the world people of all faiths happily wish one and other a Merry Christmas? No matter who you are or what you believe about history or circumstance, it is essential to take time out along the way to rejoice and recognize the essence of Christmas.
Admittedly, much of what Christmas is on the surface is cultural and arbitrary. But what Christmas is at its depth is humanity’s lifeblood. It is more essential than air, food, and water. Indeed, it outlives the body. It is the Song of the Soul. Without the deep feelings that we renew on Christmas, life withers on the vine. A life dedicated to that essence is a life well lived.
No matter what your religion, even if it is non-religion, this is true. Only the words, which dwell on the surface may vary and be debated. To renew and enliven those feelings is to feed the soul. It gives life meaning. It is life’s meaning.
So it is with heartfelt dedication to all humanity that I wish you a Very Merry Christmas!! God Bless you, one and all.
And a very Merry Christmas to you and yours! That was a beautiful message, thank you.
Yesterday we hiked up to a waterfall alongside a Muslim family. I took their picture and they shared cookies with us. As we left the mother said, Merry Christmas. We all felt that essence of Christmas that you so beautifully put into words. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas everyone:)
