On Anger - Michael MamasWhen feeling angry, before you act, look deeper.
What is the root of the anger?
What underlies the anger?
How were you hurt? Hurt underlies anger.

Then speak from the heart.
Speak from the hurt.
Do not blame.
Give voice to the experience of the hurt, the sadness, the wound.

The anger is normal.
Do not judge it.
But do not act it out.
That only invites polarity, opposition, and more hurt.

To be heard, speak the truth.
The anger is an avoidance, a masking, a venting, an eruption.
The truth is the hurt.
