When it comes to making decisions, don’t do today what you can put off until tomorrow.
Move forward and see the options… be aggressive, do not dilly dally, but keep your options open as long as you can. You never know what new opportunities lie around the corner so there is no reason to lock yourself in prematurely.
Once the decision is made, move forward definitively. See the job. Do the job.
Amused by the play on the old adage of doing today what shouldn’t be put off til tomorrow. I am wondering how that created the rush and bustle of doing, something I see all around me and that I know I engage in. Just when I find myself doing too much, I know it’s time to sit down an meditate, sit still, reflect.
Thank you Brahmarshi, I am reminded of how I said I couldn’t come to Mount Soma for the Bliss Course and then options started to open. I am saying I can live at Mount Soma, and am awaiting the options. Put them on paper now.
My martial arts teacher said, “Act as late as possible, but not too late.” It’s kind of humorous in the context of fighting.
Thank you for the blog.
This one is short and simple yet very thought provoking. What a beautiful balance between a mind set of “just get it done” and “breath first” then just get it done. One of the most impactful lessons for me Brahmarshi has been,”Use the reality that best serves the moment” I am doing my best to implement this daily and slowing down my decision making process is a great tool to gain better results.
Thank you for all that you do!
Well said. Too often I employ “See the job. Do the job.” mentality to the decision making process. It is like I see the decision making process as just another task instead of the steering wheel towards opportunity that it is. Too often my haste leads to regret. I will definitely try to be employ this advice in my life. Thanks. -Hayley
Love this! Been trying to put this into play for years, ever since you first mentioned to back in 2007. I’m not sure I heard you correctly then or if I am recalling you accurately now, but I loved that wisdom in it. I do find myself second guessing my choices way too much and trying to justify and explain what appears as “indecision” to the people around me and navigating around their expectations… Yet, I must thank them for being so patient!
I am deep in the middle of such a dynamic today…that defies all of my usual patterns and comforts. Hopefully opportunity awaits !
Amazing how this works. It is, even if it feels like its last minute with my present move forward, onward. Nature supports, even with my impatience. Thank you Brahmarshi, another great reminder.

Thank you for this.
Everything in existence cycles. For every principle, there is an equally valid yet contradictory principle. Is it wise reflection or procrastination? True knowledge dwells in the gaps between the words. More on this in an upcoming blog.
