Here is a nice little quote my fitness coach passed along today.
“If you continually do the stuff you’re already good at, you’re not training, you’re performing… When you focus on what needs to improve, now you’re training.”
Everything maps. The principles of fitness map nicely on to life. People aspire to a comfortable life of familiarity. People also wonder why they are not happy. Happiness means evolution, means expanding beyond that which is familiar and comfortable.
You have only two choices: drop back and punt, or go for a touchdown.
Dear Brahmarshi, Thank you fro helping me as I continue to explore my sticky throttle and knee jerk reactions around comfort, trust and freedom. I am still quite confused. Humbly Nancy
Montana to Rice!
Hang in there Nancy. It would be good to see you again.
Ooh, touchdown. Perfect timing for the weekend ahead.

Bravo Nancy…..your candor AND awareness inspires!
Just as I was thinking to myself this morning at 5 am (with a slight hint of self pity, if truth be known) “I am tired of growth opportunities! Can’t I just coast for a day or two ” my email pings and in comes this post. Laughing, I returned to the work I front of me and decided what the heck, I’ll go for the touchdown and maybe even the three point conversion afterward! Thank you Brahmarshi for helping me keep my hand steady on the rudder.
Jai Guru Dev!
