Have you heard the latest ‘theory’ for the cause of autism?
~
Namely: Hypersensitivity to pollutants.
~
Really? So, it is not the pollutants that are the problem? The problem is just that people are hypersensitive?
~
If it were one person in millions, well then, maybe it would make some sense. However, autism is becoming epidemic.
~
The mind is a fascinating thing, isn’t it? Talk about being able to justify anything with the intellect.
~
You can rational-ize anything.
Tell me more… I am fascinated… The above theory sounds like a lack of understanding of the cause/effect paradox or which came first the chicken or the egg…
My current understanding is that there is a underlying disturbance in the brain and nervous system…
New pollutants would not be the cause they would just be the external world elements that this disturbance can not defend itself against, thus more symptoms coming to surface when exposed. The cause would be what caused the underlying disturbance in the first place. Would it be Karma from before, during or after incarnation? Would it be toxic exposure to pollutants causing true nature development to be stunted before, during or after incarnation? Obviously both at the same time, no? what is closer to the TRUTH? what is your opinion? and how does one go about healing the brain and nervous system? here is where a cookbook would be nice to have.
Hi Steve,
Your question is beyond the scope of a blog, but it would be a fascinating topic for class some time.
My point was simply that pollution is the culprit, not the people. It is not right to just keep polluting until people get sick and then claim that the people are ‘at fault’ for being ‘hypersensitive’!!
Regarding Karma: The fruits of ones actions, karma, can return fast or slow.. hours or lifetimes. Basically it depends on what star it bounces off of, if that is not too abstract. Maybe that too is best to save for a class discussion
Hi mm,
You are right. Looks like I got a little carried away… 😉
Thanks for the clarification. Again you are right!!
Yes, many more fascinating class discussions await for hours or lifetimes.
