“Whether it is to be Utopia or Oblivion will be a touch-and-go relay race right up to the final moment… Humanity is in a final exam as to whether or not it qualifies for continuance in the Universe.” — Buckminster Fuller
Yes, believe it or not, the Ancients foresaw this moment in history. Decades ago, jyotish masters said that people are looking to the end of the Mayan calandar, but what they should be looking to is 2020.

Facinating.
You mention that decades ago jyotish masters said that people were looking to the end of the Mayan calendar, but what they should have been looking to is 2020. In the Podcast, you specifically cite Dec 21, 2020 as the date that Jupiter and Saturn will be closest in the sky. The Mayan calendar ended on Dec 21, 2012. Dec 21, 2020 is exactly 8 years later. Some have said this represents 7 years of tribulation +1. You stated that there won’t necessarily be a flash or anything on that specific day, which I take to mean that it’s not ruled out either. The Vedic tradition talks of the Samvartaka Fire. There are similar descriptions of this even in many other ancient traditions. I believe this was even depicted in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. Could we be fast approaching the time that this event is due to happen? Do the cycles of the Yugas operate as a precise clockwork measurable in the movements of the planets in our solar system, as well as our solar system’s movement as our Milky Way galaxy spins through space? Measurable with perfect mathematical precision? If so, I’d venture to say that Dec 21, 2020 is a significant date. Perhaps “something wonderful” is about to occur.
Dear Anonymous,
I enjoyed you comment. There is much to say about it, so I plan to use the next podcast time to respond. I would also like to invite anyone else with related questions or comments to submit them. To do so anonymously is fine. As applicable I will respond to them also in that podcast.
Why do we need to feel needed and how does that need turn unhealthy without our noticing so quickly? What are some healthy ways to meet that need?
Hello Michael,
I just figured I would reach out to thank you and show support for these podcasts. Your teachings have been greatly appreciated and continue to help nurture that root of being within. Life’s circumstances continue to change and along with that our identities we perceive through change. I have followed your teachings for almost 20 years now, since reading “The Golden Frog”, a couple retreats in RI years ago, and following your teachings and dream at Mount Soma over the years. Your teaching has remained steadfast and consistent. I really appreciate these podcasts and hope they continue. I particularly enjoy how you are translating the language and qualities of the Veda. I feel like there are many people like myself, (western born, catholic spiritual background), that will greatly benefit from a healthy understanding and relationship with the nature of the Veda.
Thanks again, best wishes,
Erik
Hi Alana,
