Here is a nice brief explaination of Vishva Chaitanya. As it applies to our Earth, we call it “global consciousness”. When ones consciousness has developed sufficiently, it is experienced directly as the nature of life.
INTRODUCTION. Chaitanya is consciousness-life force. Our individual mind is a limited entity or vyashti-chaitanya. Prayer and meditation connect us to the Universal Mind or VISHVA CHAITANYA, the power that is directing and sustaining all the laws and movements of the universe.
