As most of you know, my New Years Day 2011 lecture proclaimed this to be ‘The Year of Change.’
~
The recent occurrences in Japan are simply the beginning of what is to come. More earth movements and worldwide events will occur this year that will overshadow this, the economic markets, and other turbulent global events thus far.
~
I have encouraged you to make the move to Mount Soma. It will prove to be wise to do that soon, for soon it will be too late for many. Cataclysms like Japan are currently news about some far away land. Soon it will become more personal as events hit home. This is the year of change. Take heed.
~
I have predicted many things that have come to pass. I have warned of this for some time. Know that now it is a matter of months, not years.
~
In times past, a number have said of my predictions, “Why didn’t you say so more forcefully?” when in my heart, I felt I was already too pushy and direct. So please hear this loud and clear.
~
It is not a time for fear. It is a time for action. It will be a time for peace and evolution for those who take heed. This IS the year of change. Watch the behavior of God’s creatures. When they become erratic, leave. When earth tremors become frequent, a number of them in only a few days period… leave. In fact, for several days prior to the Japan earthquake, we even felt it here at Mount Soma. More is on the way. These shifts will bring about a great healing for the planet, for those who remain.
~
You may recoil at my words. That is your choice. Time will be the test that proves or disproves my predictions.
~
In the short run we can only generate enough coherence for a small location. The major earth changes are unpreventable and will manifest soon at various locations on our planet, including some in the US.

Certainly my heartbreak over the tragedy in Japan renders my thoughts about the situation insignificant.
~
Yet I have been asked to share my thoughts.
~
Well, of course the mechanics of the karma comes to mind. However, we must be most humble regarding this. The mechanics of creation are subtle and complex to the point of unfathomability.
~
Though the sadness in my heart dominated my experience, the interconnectedness of life has been foremost in my mind regarding this tragedy.
~
Speaking openly and sincerely, I would have to say that it seems like we felt it coming here at Mount Soma. For several days prior to the earthquake, it seemed like a pressure or turbulence was building just under the surface.
~
When news of the earthquake arrived, it felt like, “Oh, so now we know what that was really about.” Our lives are all so interconnected. The pulse of the planet courses through the channels of global consciousness. The more we feel our connection to all that is, the more we experience the pulse of that global state. Eras in time have characteristic pulses. I remember clearly realizing and experiencing that during the Carter presidency era.
~
Imagine if we could work with that interconnection as a vehicle to heal global consciousness.
~
From my years of experience in the healing arts, I concluded that if you could feel it, you could heal it. The idea being that if you can get a ‘handle’ on something, you can then begin to work with it.
~
Feeling is the gateway. So much of life is just about feeling what is right in your hands – innocently, purely, unbiased – without judgment, preconceptions, or conditions.
~
To look upon the world and see it as it is.
~
Notions of what is preclude ones ability to see what is.
~
Everything is right there before you.
~
To perceive, is to feel without bias, is to heal. The potential is infinite.

2011 will continue to be The Year of Change as predicted.
~
The dominos will continue to fall as oppressive leaders will continue to be ousted.
~
There will be more transitions of government in the short term than we have seen in any decade in modern history. The proverbial cat is out of the bag. Millions of previously silent individuals will not stop until they have a just government.
~
These short term changes could make for quite rough circumstances, but long term the changes WILL be for the better.
~
The effect of the technological boom (internet, cell phones, etc.) will be the catalyst that brings about a great transition to a better world.
~
However, remember that the foundation of this and any real change only arises from a shift in consciousness. The unified field is the only source of real change.
~
Of course, though some call it the unified field, others prefer to call it the soul or essence of our being, while others refer to this underlying essence of life and existence as God.

Isn’t the Roman Empire a remarkable case study? In spite of tremendous power, wealth, influence and infrastructure, it fell.
~
We could site a number of causes, but really it boils down to one cause: convolution.
~
So many viewpoints pushed through so many laws and policies. Everything stopped making sense. It was a government gone wild.
~
The United States would do well to learn from this. When policy stops making basic common sense and is justified by the perspective that the common people are just too stupid to understand, then there is a problem.
~
The Roman Empire did not fall due to lack of genius. It fell due to lack of common sense.

If the US does not wake up, it will face the same fate.

The following quote unfortunately has validity:

“Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men.” – Martin Luther King Jr.
~
I intend to change that situation. Let’s do it together.

Today, when the military was filtering through the crowds in Egypt to clear the way for traffic, the protesters kept chanting “peacefully, peacefully.”
~
That is incredibly significant. The Age of Awakening is happening. This is indeed “The Year of Change.”
~
The pendulum will continue to swing, but our planet is indeed spiraling upward. It is a delicate time, but a time that holds great promise.
~
The timely blossoming of Mount Soma is no coincidence.

There has been debate in the news lately regarding the end of life or so called ‘death’ panels.
~
Advocates feel that support and education is a bonus. Opposition claims it is an imposition of government, herding and pushing people in a direction. The truth is that it could be either of those things. It depends mostly upon the bias of the current administrators and implementers of the program.
~
Even if a panel of doctors is in charge, some doctors favor a liberal and others favor a conservative perspective. The matter is really more of a philosophical, personal, and/or religious matter than a purely medical one.
~
This addresses an important general issue. When the government creates policies to channel or guide the public, it opens the door to the bias of whatever the philosophy of the current administration may be. Even if the current administration is fully well intended, a system would be put in place that would allow for future, perhaps tyrannical, administrations to impose their will upon the people. It essentially opens the door for a controlling 1984 big brother type of system from either side of the philosophical/political spectrum, if not in the present time, then perhaps in future administrations.
~
This is also seen in the arena of food. People in power have their convictions. Some say, for example, milk is good for you. Others say it should not even be allowed in school lunches. Some say only skim milk, others say only whole milk is okay. Yet the problem is most complex. For example, transfats I believe are very unhealthy. There is much research to support that. Many feel they are worse for you than cigarettes. Let us assume that is true. What to do? Should restaurants be allowed to use them, without their customer’s knowledge? Where should the line between just government control and over-the-top imposition of will be drawn? The balance is most delicate.
~
As with all things, evolution of consciousness must come first. Then and only then, will wise government reign. As is said, we get the government that the level of group consciousness merits.

Last Surya Ram Class the topic of ghosts came up. I referred to a story that has been a source of fascination for many years here in Western North Carolina in a video.

To see what others have to say about these mysterious lights, HERE is a typical commentary. You can also Google Brown Mountain Lights and see video clips of them.

For the first time since 1638 there will be an eclipse during the winter solstice.
~
The full moon will be Monday night…. peaking early Tuesday morning EST with the eclipse from 02:41 am to 03:53 am EST Tuesday, This is the first time since 1638 that the clips and solstice occurred together. You can visit
http://spaceweather.com for more details if you would like.
~
In India, eclipses are considered somewhat inauspicious. It is advised not to look at them and not to eat during them. Some do not eat from sunset to sunrise that night and others just avoid eating near the time of the actual eclipse. It is considered bad for the digestion to do so. It is therefore not likely to be a great thing that the eclipse and solstice occur on the same day.
~
I expect to hear from jyotishi Sanjay Rath about this soon. When I do, I will post what he has to say.

One day, sitting on our front porch, I asked my wife, “Can you imagine a hostile army [either foreign or domestic] marching down this street someday?”
~
“No, I can’t,” she honestly responded.
~
Then I said, “For so long we have taken for granted what thousands have died for, that we no longer fully appreciate it. Because of that, we risk losing it. That’s the nature of time. We forget.”
~
Freedom… no sovereign nation holds a more precious gift, nor a more delicate one.
~
This Thanksgiving, may we all express our humble gratitude.
~
May we once again proclaim our dedication to creating a more enlightened world.
