The Nine Days of Mother Divine has been among the most beautiful times we have ever had at Mount Soma. With the lovely group of Chinese in attendance, the lectures were translated into Chinese as the Chinese, Indians, and Americans came together to create a deeply moving feeling of our world family.
The vision for Mount Soma is becoming a palpable reality now. Clearly politicians will not pave the way to a United Nations… a world family. We can proclaim that the seed has been planted now for the blossoming of that world family. There is no need for any global suffering or conflict. This world provides for the prosperity and happiness for all humanity. We have only to receive it properly. It is happening.
The Student Union building was inaugurated on the last of the nine days… Victory Day.
I believe that all in attendance will reflect for some time upon the profound experience we all had over these past days. What transpired will be remembered throughout history. Those in attendance are invited to add comments describing their experience of the course.

To the following question:
Would you explain why there is so much hate and anger today. I see so much fighting and killing going on. It seems everyone has a gun or thinks they should have one. I guess humans have fought each other for centuries but what is it that makes them hate another person so much because of a different belief system? Is this because of our identities? Is it because of group consciousness? Or is this all just part of a grander plan just playing out?
My response:
If the fundamental nature and structure of life and existence is understood, answers to this and so many other question that have plagued humanity for ages are clear and simple. Without that understanding, people wallow in a quagmire of oblivious speculation.
Once you have that basic understanding, you must then learn how to connect the dots. Here are the dots:
- The universe manifested as pure consciousness (the unified field… pure is-ness), became conscious of itself and the illusion of duality was born. Then, becoming conscious of the duality, a third thing was born… then conscious of the three, a fourth was born, and on and on into multiplicity.
- This occurred in a mathematically precise way: 1, 2, 3, etc. Through the self-interaction of that structure, processes emerged… like addition, multiplication, and of course, profoundly more complex interactions.
- This created the underlying matrix, the basis, of all existence… the quantum mechanical realm… the mechanics (processes) of the interaction of the quantization (1, 2, 3…) of Oneness (pure consciousness).
- Simple systems (biological organisms) emerged within this quantum mechanical soup and sustained and reproduced themselves along the lines of Darwin, but with an important aspect that Darwin missed. Namely, the organized structure of those species continued to be infused, and therefore ‘pulled or pushed’, by the underlying, mathematically precise, order of that quantum mechanical soup underlying and permeating them.
- In other words, species evolved in a direction… gravitating back to the harmony, intelligence, integration, etc., inherent in that from which they emerged – i.e. the unified field.
- Everything has a personified aspect. That is what gives it meaning. For example, you are a bunch of electron, protons, neutrons, etc. But you are the personified value of that. Your persona is what people relate to as “you.” The persona of the unified field is called “God.”
- As species evolve, they have not developed fully enough to live in full harmony with their essential, underlying, true nature… Mother Nature… God. They are embodying only a fragment of their essence… far short of their full potential… of what they would be when fully evolved. Their thoughts, emotions, actions, etc., are limited by their level of evolution, which is not fully harmonious with the existence that birthed them.
Now you should have enough to answer your question… just connect the dots.
And when you are connecting the dots, it is of utmost importance to know that we offer a technology to accelerate the evolution of each person individually. Proper meditation, cultivation of the art of discernment, as well as a technology to, at the same time, radiate that evolutionary influence to the world at large… a unified field generator, i.e. a harmony generator, i.e. Mount Soma.

I have spoken and written so many times about the state of world affairs and warned of the economic and social challenges ahead. I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have begun to write still another blog on the subject only to delete it. The truth is, you have heard it from me many times before. You will take heed or you will not. The choice is yours.
So one last time, Mount Soma is being created to be a bastion of harmony, security, and coherence. Not only will it radiate like a quantum mechanical transmitter of peace to the world, but needless to say to its residents even more so.
This will be so on many levels – both sublime and pragmatic. Do not think your money alone will protect you from the times ahead. It is now clear, to even the most pragmatic and non-spiritual, that a time of great transition is upon our world… economically, socially, and politically.
The decisions you make for your life are yours alone. You are well aware of my opinion.

This past week at Mount Soma has been really fantastic, starting with the two-day Surya class. Then Guru Purnima, which for me, was the most profound and beautiful yet. The meditation retreat is still going on with people beginning to come down in rounds soon.
If the purification process ever has any roughness to it, that is the most likely time. So as usual, we are reminding everyone attending to take their thoughts and emotions a little less seriously over the next several days and just be easy with the process. This is not to say that thoughts during this time have no validity, but rather that the emotions around them at this time can be more substantial. Reducing the meditation time while keeping this in mind insures a smooth and enjoyable reintegration of the physiology. This is, after all, the primary purpose of meditation… an integrated physiology being the foundation of a life lived in harmony.
When you finally get enlightened, you discover how ridiculously physiological the whole thing is. Enlightenment can, of course, be viewed from different angles, but it is invaluable to understand and honor this physiological perspective.
Later this morning we will have a Ganesh puja at the temple. With the transcendent enlivened by all that has been going on, it should be really something. As you get more and more comfortable and settled in the temple, the sublime quality of the akasha (atmosphere) there becomes increasingly palpable. This is referred to as the presence of the Gods. I encourage you all to aspire to that level where you directly experience the Gods as your personal friends. After all, that is your birthright.

Each of us has a world we live in. Of course, in the deepest sense, you have no limit. However, on the level of daily life we each have a certain size to our sphere of awareness, activity and influence… our world. Our global group mentality, too, is a world… a group consciousness… a self perpetuating system.
The other morning at the temple, around 4 a.m., sitting in front of the linga, I saw the size of our world – the group consciousness of humanity. It was represented as the size of the linga before me. Then my awareness went to the bigger invisible linga that reached infinitely up and out of the temple and into the earth, engulfing the physical linga before me. It was as if the physical linga was a small gateway to its greater nature. It started with a mudra that took me over, raised back my head, pushed back my arms, and showed me what was always there, but not yet physiologically lived by humanity.
To accomplish our goal for Mount Soma, the group sphere of awareness is expanding to this size. This is not a conceptual shift but a physiological shift. As your sphere of influence expands, your world expands – your physiology expands.
We are all ever-expanding – always opening to new horizons. But to open further, you must be willing to open. If not, the process is resisted and constrained. But to want to open is not to know what that really means or to see what direction it leads… what it feels like in the physiology, in the psyche. Even among those wanting to open, few are willing to open, preferring that it would conform to notions of how it should be… conform to your current sphere, world, mentality.
Even a small glimpse of that new world is a wonderful gift pointing in a direction and opening the way. Each sphere, each world you may for a time be living in, seems small, cloistered, and constricted in contrast to the next. Yet the physiology must be prepared before the next shift can take place. Otherwise, the individual can not hold it… like a lotto winner who can not deal with the world they find themselves thrown into… or an overnight success in the entertainment business unable to live in the new world they find themselves in. When done in this balanced manner, each successive sphere brings with it greater joy, wisdom, happiness, evolution, positive influence, and vision. It is like the successive blossoming of a flower. Through proper meditation and discernment, you culture your physiology for expansion. When done by even one individual, it supports the future expansion of global consciousness.
There is no end to expansion. It happens gradually, yet with phase transitions along the way. The next stage of expansion of our global mentality is on its way. A glimpse, of not just the conceptual details but the physiological experience of an expanded global mentality, changes lives. It will be quite something when it happens globally. We are most fortunate to be living at this time of great transition.
Now it is important to make it clear that each individual’s role will expand as the global awareness expands. Those leading the way will expand to take on greater roles, opening the doors for all others. The shift in the linga size represents the shift in each individual’s role.
The other night this expansion from the physical to the bigger linga was experienced as the expansion of my own personal role that will, and needs to, take place. It may or may not look dramatically different on the surface. That will depend upon the perceiver. However, inside, where it really matters, the shift will be huge.

My brother-in-law, Simeon, and his wife Shannon, had their wedding ceremony yesterday at Mount Soma. It was beautiful. Of course, many family members and friends attended.
The manner in which the attendees received the Vedic tradition was quite impressive. Their openness, to something that was so clearly foreign to what they have known, was most respectable. That, in and of itself, said a great deal about the good fortune of Simeon and Shannon… to have such noble support and love from family and friends.
Needless to say, my desire was intense to get up and explain the significance of the proceedings in terms of Vedic knowledge, which is not only a great art but also a highly technical science. However, I managed to control myself and allow the festivities to proceed in a joyous and light-hearted manner.
Admittedly, I did corner my nephew, whom I am proud to say will be attending Clemson next year to pursue a degree in engineering. I gave him a short course in the Veda and am thankful to him for listening.
The day was a great deal of fun for everyone!
